In this class we will create graphics that can be updated in After Effects in real time.
We use the example of a weather card. We will:
-Scrape the web with Python and Beautifulsoup
-Take that information and turn it into a JSON file
– Create an After Effects template
– Connect the JSON file to our AE template
And in the end we will have a little program that you run, it takes the info from the web, updates the JSON file, the JSON file updates the AE project and you can render real time info graphics.
