Using a modular structure, any number of flip board segments can be combined into the final edit.

Two board sizes are included. The Medium board is capable of displaying up to 171 individual tiles, while the Large board displays up to 253 tiles. Each board size also includes four different aspect ratios to select from: UHD (4K), Square, Portrait, or Vertical; or create a custom size. Flip Boards can also be combined to create much larger boards – no limit on size!

This project includes four different project files used to create a Flip Board (additional Large and Medium project files are included for creating square (1:1) aspect ratios and smaller – smaller project files reduce render times). The Large and Medium 4K UHD versions are capable of creating any size aspect ratio included.

Modular Structure – create as many Flip Board segments as needed. Render each segment, then import into a separate Edit project file to create the final render.

• The Large UHD (4K) project file requires a computer / workstation that at least meets the minimum system requirements for using Adobe After Effects; at least 32GB of system memory is highly recommended for the Large UHD version of the Flip Board.

Intuitive controls to enter text into the Flip Board. Enter any character into a tile (letters, numbers, symbols). Enter two asterisks to make a blank tile. Identical controls for Start or End text.

New in version 1.1:

• Added a matte to constrain characters to tiles if text scaled larger
• Reworked tile positioning algorithms. Version 1.0 used a method that was discovered to be unstable due to a bug in After Effects. Fizzrock Studio discovered and reported the issue to Adobe, and they issued a fix in AFX version 23.0
• Added an option to modify the method of determining random media image positions as the flip board tiles flip when using an image displayed at the end.
• Fixed Universal Expressions. Fizzrock Studio discovered a problem with the popular ExpressionUniversalizer script, and the script author issued an update to fix it.
• Consolidated layers in individual tiles, resulting in AFX project files 50%+ smaller than v1.0. Results in faster load times and workflow experience.
• Code refactoring improvements
