Hello and welcome to this course. Character animation is one of the massive subjects in animation industry. It can start from a simple IK rig to an advanced one. But in this course we will learn how to create facial animation for our character with help of Duik bassel connectors. Well now you might ask what is Duik?!
Duik Bassel is the long-awaited update to Duik, a free character animation tool for After Effects. Duik Bassel is full of helpful features that make it easier than ever to animate characters in After Effects.
Now what is connector? The Connector is a way to control almost any property in After Effects with any other property.
Sounds confusing? But don’t worry, it is all like drinking a glass of water.
At first, we will dive through the fundamental of character animation, and then we will learn how to work with the connectors. And then we will slowly be creating a fake 2.5D rotation for our character.
So is there anything you should know before taking this course? The answer is a Big fat YES.
But not much, you just need to be familiar with adobe aftereffects interface and how to set a key frame . The rest I will cover.
